Beartooth Men's Rehab

Beartooth Catholic Treatment Center

A residential treatment center, sometimes called a rehab, is a live-in health care facility providing therapy for substance use disorders, mental illness, or other behavioral problems. Residential treatment may be considered the “last-ditch” approach to treating abnormal psychology or psychopathology. 1

At Beartooth Catholic Treatment Center, young men ages 18-38 seeking help from life-controlling substance addiction find peace, life restoration and vocational training in our residential Catholic treatment center. The men that find our program have hit “rock bottom.”

Beartooth Catholic Treatment Center Brings Peace to Residents

Many of the young men who come to Beartooth Catholic Treatment Center need continued help with substance abuse, depression, or a general lack of motivation. Sitting for long hours in a dark room in front of a computer, or in front of other harmful substances, has a direct effect on their serotonin levels.

The great news is this is easy to treat because there is only one thing they need to do: get outside! Getting young men outside, and dirt on their hands will evict a spirit they forgot they had. We make sure that our Catholic treatment center has many opportunities for these young men to be outdoors as much as possible. With such a beautiful backdrop as the Wyoming countryside, who wouldn’t want to be there?

We need to be mindful and always remember that a huge part of identity is being one of God’s children. We also must take care of this planet and serve nature as much possible. It is important to be aware of these balances when life challenges us in ways we may not understand. Once we really let all the beautiful things God has created sink in and we start to appreciate surroundings, we become more in tune with nature, and we feel more a part of the big picture at Beartooth Catholic Treatment Center.

Beartooth Catholic Treatment Center Restores Families

It is essential to recovery for struggling young men to identify the underlying issues that tend to drive the habits of substance abuse or any addiction. As young adults begin to recover from the shame that surrounds their unhealthy behavior, they can learn how to relate to self and others. This process gives the young men an opportunity to develop healthy coping mechanisms and the socialization skills necessary to maintain abstinence.

At Beartooth Catholic Treatment Center, we tailor research proven addiction treatment approaches for each young man and his family members. We blend the latest evidence-based practices from innovative approaches and psychology with historically proven addiction treatment methods like cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, experiential therapy, motivational interviewing, addiction counseling, and positive peer culture.

The Beartooth Catholic Treatment Center approach also includes health and fitness education for patients and their families. In Addiction Treatment Philosophy For Young Men, we support and encourage each young man to explore spirituality and open himself up to a relationship with his Creator. Every client has an integrated, multidisciplinary team of highly trained and credentialed staff members who are full-time and onsite. The team creates personalized treatment plans that are based on each patient’s individual needs. We believe that addressing our patients’ core physical, mental, and emotional issues is the only way to reverse the addiction process and restore young men to their families.

Beartooth Catholic Treatment Center Prepares Young Men with Vocational Training

Unlike other traditional rehabs that offer a set of circumstances by which a young man can hope to stay sober, our Catholic treatment center offers each young man a chance to be independent of circumstance. Beartooth Catholic Treatment Center calls this RESILIENCY TRAINING! We teach each young man that it is their own will and intellect that can keep them sober, safe, and mature. We achieve this by having the young men focus on work, and experiential therapy that centers around their present decisions and their goals for their future.

Beartooth Catholic Treatment Center can help them retrain their brains to look to success and healthy application of their new Vocational & Life skills. That’s why we offer young men hands-on exposure to a variety of vocational skills training such as: agriculture management, crop irrigation, carpentry, welding, heavy equipment operations, mechanics, horsemanship/horse training, and animal husbandry. Rather than use the past as a teaching device which can often lead to shame, and unhealthy manifestation of guilt, we let them experience, understand, and learn from the current habits and choices they are making now. This helps remove them from a certain “rut” of thinking and acting from the past and encourages growth toward a brighter future.
