Vocational Addiction Treatment Program For Men
Beartooth Men’s Rehab offers vocational training at its Christian drug and alcohol rehab in Wyoming. Our vocational program helps men take control of their lives and develop independence. We operate as a 50,000-acre “working” cattle ranch deep in the Wyoming wilderness. Our center is full of daily challenges that help young men value their hard work as they learn to do various ranch jobs and tasks.
Beartooth Men’s Rehab vocational training program helps young men develop various job skills in different industries and build a foundation in general life skills that can help them in all facets of life. Our long-term residential ranch environment and western “Cowboy Culture” promote honesty, integrity, responsibility, and determination.
That’s why we offer young men hands-on exposure to various vocational skills training such as agriculture management, crop irrigation, carpentry, welding, heavy equipment operations, mechanics, horsemanship/horse training, and animal husbandry.

Christian Trades Program – Ride for the Brand
Each young man learns the Christian trades program by participating in Beartooth Men’s Rehab ranch life. Students will be responsible for the general care of the ranch, including maintenance of livestock, including horses. Through this Western cowboy way of life, young men learn to work hard, stick to things even when it gets tough, and finish what they start. This is excellent preparation for his preparation for vocational skills.
Another part of the Beartooth Men’s Rehab trades training program is when the cattle are set to pasture during summer. Men will periodically cover our 40,000-acre range on horseback to monitor the entire herd, ensuring sufficient water, maintaining fences, and checking that there is no extensive loss of cattle to predators (bears and wolves). Each young man will also contribute to cattle feed production by farming crops during the spring and summer when he will learn equipment maintenance, crop irrigation, and welding.
The Beartooth Men’s Rehab vocational program for men is also witnessed in the agricultural way of life that helps your son simplify his needs. It will teach him how to order them around his responsibilities, faith, and friendships with others at Beartooth. By “riding for the brand,” your son will gradually heal and understand the importance of obeying God in his relationships. And all this works together to help your young man become his best as part of Beartooth’s vocational program for men!
